A Weekend of Football

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was
good, the family and I went to watch both of
my nephews play football.

On Saturday morning we watched my sister
Tammy's son, Fumble. He's 5 yrs old and plays
flag for the Gators, he loves to play and it shows.
He is hilarious to watch because he's out there
dancing around between plays and talking
smack when he makes a play. The boy got 4
flags! Count em'. 1, 2, 3, 4. By the 3rd flag,
Marky was telling him to yell, (while waving
hand back and forth in front of face) "You can't
see me! You can't see me!" When he gets older
he is gonna be a star, I guarantee you.

Saturday night we went to my SIL's son's
football game. For the sake of privacy I'll call
him "Squints". If you have ever seen the movie
"The Sandlot" you will see the resemblance.
Anyway, Squints is 11 and plays for the
Longhorns and you just better not mess with
him. He is as onry as the day is long and doesn't
take crap off of anyone. During the game he
made a play where he cut blocked another
player, for which he received a penalty (it was
on the kickoff, which makes it illegal). Later,
he comes over and tells us that after the play
the kid he cut blocked yelled, "What the hell was
that (insert last name here)?" To which he
responded, "It was a tackle, Stupid!" That's him
to a tee.
